One week after Mother's Day at the Westin Nova Scotian and the stats are in! We served 1046 hungry diners over Mother's Day Brunch. Working in a busy hotel we see food being prepared in our kitchen every day and see banquets of 400 being served with little thought to the actual volume. Chef Raj Gupta has provided some staggering numbers to help us understand what it takes to feed 1046 people. Over 2 days, 6 cooks prepared for brunch = 96 hours of preparation.
Mother's Day Brunch at the Westin is phenomenal! Chef Raj Gupta and the team put together an amazing day of Nova Scotia cuisine, entertainment, and service.
This year's brunch includes an extensive buffet with a ham and prime rib carvery, live music by Paul Brushett, kid's craft area, and prize draws! Prizes include gift certificates, Yuk Yuk's passes, Nova Scotia Crystal Bud Vase, and more. Each Mom will get a flower, chocolate, and a brunch cocktail.
