For those of you that have spent any amount of time here at our Halifax hotel, you have probably seen people with a sketch pad and pens throughout our lobby. If you were wondering who they were, they were NSCAD students from next door!
The Nova Scotia College of Art and Design opened a new facility behind our hotel, attached to the Halifax Farmer's Market a few years ago. Students do some of their practice work here at our hotel. The architecture is great and there is plenty of space for them to create their artwork. We love having them here.
Check out these 3 drawings, completed recently by NSCAD students in coordination with Gene, one of the professors at NSCAD. We are grateful to have these awesome images to show our visitors. Please leave comments about the drawings to let the students know what a great job they've done.
